Install WordPress
I hope you’re getting excited this is where the creation begins.
I’m going to show you how to install WordPress.org using SiteGround hosting.
Don’t get intimated I promise it’s a simple process that will take you less than 10 minutes.
Quick Install Instructions
Step 1- Login to your SiteGround account
-Select My Accounts
-Select the “Go to cPanel” button

Step 2- Scroll to the middle of the page
-Under Autoinstallers- select “WordPress” icon
Step 3- Scroll down the page and select “Install Now”
Step 4- You will be at the Software Setup
–Choose Protocol- Leave the default settings
–Choose Domain-Select your domain name
–In Directory-Leave empty
Step 5- Site Settings Page
-Site Name- List the name of your website
-Site Description- Put your tagline in this space
-Enable Multisite-You’re probably not creating a multisite so leave this unchecked
-Admin Username-Create a username-Make sure it’s something unique. You don’t want to make it easy to access your site.
-Admin Password-Create a password- You will want to be as creative as possible to make sure this is a strong password. You don’t want your password something that’s easy to guess. Just make sure to keep it in a safe place.
-Admin Email-Put the email address to receive your website information
Step 6- Just leave everything as is, unless you need to change your language
-Choose Theme-You could install your theme here, but I strongly suggest installing it after WordPress is installed. I will walk you through how to install your theme in Chapter 5.
-Select Install
